Working with wood is another of my passions. Oak has been one of my favorites for making furniture, especially white oak. The past few years, I have been working from patterns of the mission and arts and crafts movement. Stickley, Harvey Ellis, Greene and Greene, Limbert are favorite designers. There have been more than a few original designs as well. Continuing classes at Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking have honed my skills and provided opportunities to branch out into other activities such as making small boxes, inlay and learning the finer points of finishing.
